IMMP Sampling Frame

The Integrated Monarch Monitoring Program collects milkweed, nectar plant, and monarch use data from various land-use types and regions. IMMP volunteers go out to large plots of land at various times throughout the breeding season depending on which data are being collected. 

The sampling frame includes all parts needed to make a 1.0m x0 .5m sampling frame. 

• Six 0.5 meter lengths of 1/2inch (approx. 1.3cm) PVC pipe
• four 90° elbow joints
• Two straight connectors

Assembly: Use 90° elbow joints for corners, making two "U" shapes. Use the straight connectors to connect the two "U" shapes to make a rectangle. See diagram and product images.
