This flat of 10 pint-size Cardinal Flower plants is for planting as far west as Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri and Arkansas, and as far south as Arkansas, Tennessee, and Georgia. Consult the shipping map on this page to confirm your state falls within the shipping zone.
This flat will cover about 10-20 square feet of garden space. Consider purchasing milkweed and other nectar plants to provide long-lasting pollen and nectar for monarchs and other pollinators.
Lobelia cardinalis (Cardinal Flower) has exquisite red blooms. This perennial native plant is medium in height, and thrives in slightly wet soils and rain gardens. It is a great nectar source for hummingbirds and swallowtail butterflies.
